Day 3 of Lake Chelan trip

Finally the winds after two days of blowing dangerously hard, were a little less the third day. We did have to cross the lake for safer places to hide in case the winds would become dangerous again. Crossing at 25 mile is a bit longer than other parts of the lake, and with large waves and a good wind, this ended up quite exiting. Later we heard from another couple that they ended up being surprised by a sudden rainstorm and 30 mph winds, so hugging the shores when the weather seems to change is a good idea.

We ended up going past Deer Creek and into Safety Harbor. It was raining real good, tarping over the tent helped somewhat.
