January 1, 2009 Seasons Greatings from Snowkane

Dec 17 an 18 storm

Started snowing at about noon previous day, 24 hours later, 27 inches or 69 cm here at our elevation. This is a little more than half of a typical season's snow. Last year we had 90 inches of snow over a full season, which was unusually much, but never this much snow in a 24 hour period.
